Job Description:

We are looking for post-graduates and 1st-honour graduates from Mechanical Engineering or Physics to take part in our continuous research and development of noise control products and technologies. Successful applicants will be trained on the following areas. Upon completion of training they may further specialize in 2-3 areas of particular interest.

- Finite Element Analysis using Strand7 for structural vibration responses analysis;
- Rail Roughness Analysis using CAT (Corrugation Analysis Trolley);
- Track Decay Rate Analysis using B&K Pulse 3560C and Force Hammer;
- STI, RaSTI, SPL, RT prediction using Renkus-Henize EASE (Electro Acoustic Simulator for Engineers);
- Competent Person for MTR Track Work (CP(T)) for conducting railway inspections and measurements;
- Tuned Mass Damper design using Solidwork & AutoCAD
- Electromagnetic Damper to control wheel vibration using B&K Type 7753 Modal Analysis Consultant

Other benefit:

- Salary review after the 3th and 9th month, salary increment will be in the range of 10% to 25% in each review

Salary: $13,800 – 18,000 after 3-month probation

Other Req.:

The following background would be preferred,
- Strong analytical skills, passionate in research works
- Preferable with Knowledge in Finite Element Analysis, Contact Mechanics
